Stellar Sea diverting toward Weird Cat. in Haro Strait on the afternoon of Aug. 6. The ship was perhaps 80 ft long and 30 ft wide with the driver hanging in a little phonebooth from a high crossarm. It moved very quickly and did not emit detectable underwater noise at the ~ 1/2 mile range that it passed our hydrophones.
